Promoting Korean Culture
University of St Andrews Korean Society (USAKS) is a group for people who are from Korea and also for those who are interested in our culture. We aim to share better and deeper understanding about our culture through dance class, language class and most importantly by socializing with great people. Feel free to join our society without any pressure, we welcome all of you to come join us for our very own, K-culture!
Our Story
With the growth of Korean culture over the world, we aim to promote our story to non-Koreans within the University, or even to the general public of St Andrews. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, Korean Society faced some difficulties at maintaining the society. Yet, the hardship motivated us to promote the culture even more, gaining the momentum since then.
We wish to foster a community, no matter where you are from, in which we can unite as one and learn our culture (which can be very different to your own), enabling ourselves to widen our perspectives.
